Meet Dr. Kim

Dr. Chongnam KimD.D.S.

Dr. Chongnam Kim graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1994. She completed her residency program at New York Hospital Medical Center the following year. 

She has received numerous awards in her career from the “American Academy of Oral Maxillofacial Radiology”, “American College of Prosthodontics”, and the “Pierre Fauchard Award”. 

Dr. Kim is part of the Academy General Dentistry, Dental Society State of New York, Queens County Dental Society, and the Korean American Dental Association. 

She has achieved the Gold Invisalign®Provider status, completing numerous cases in the course of her career.

How was your experience at Elegant?

I visited Dr. Kim with an infection on my wisdom tooth that evidently needed to be surgically extracted. The office has a classic home-y feel and the staff greeted me with smiles. Dr. Kim approached the treatment with great care, and the extraction went smoothly. The assistants/receptionist promptly followed up with me the next day, which I appreciated. Yun S.
I had an old crown that needed to be re-treated, but with my other experiences I was very nervous of having to re-do the root canal, because my case was a bit complex. Dr. Kim understood my concerns, and she took her time and patience to make sure I was relaxed and comfortable. Even though it took 2~3 visits (longer than usual) to treat it, I was relieved to know that Dr. Kim thoroughly really took care and effort to treat it. I will be visiting again! Kelly L.
